Things evolve so quickly regarding Covid-regulations, it is always a good idea to get in touch with us a few days before your fitting to get all the last-minute information. Currently there are no restrictions for your fitting.
If you wish to visit us on a Saturday or for one of our late night appointments, you should book your appointment as early as possible. During the week we are usually more flexible. Have a look at our appointment booking calendar to see which dates are still available.
The easiest way to book an appointment is via our appointment booking calendar. You are also welcome to send us an E-Mail or give us a call.
We recommend that you visit us 9-12 months before your wedding. That way you can enjoy the whole process without any stress, rush fees, timelines and don’t miss out on any dresses with a longer production period. We can always accommodate if your time line is a little more rushed but if you have the possibility to start early, we recommend that you do. Especially in pandemic times that are often unpredictable it is such a good feeling to have your wedding dress dealt with in time.
Our samples range are usually a European size 38/40 and we have started adding some samples in sizes 42/44 which translates to a UK14/16. We are in the process of adding bigger samples. If you let us know which styles interest you before your appointment, we can always loan larger samples from some of our labels. All our dresses can be made in sizes 32-48/50.
While we carry some styles for your civil wedding around 1500 Euros, the majority of our dresses cost between 1900 and 5000 Euros. If you are unsure about finding enough choices in your budget range, drop us an email and come by for a browse through our collection before making an official appointment.
You can bring as many people as you want. Generally we would recommend to keep your bridal party small (2-4 people) as too many opinions can often cloud your judgement and make the whole experience less worthwhile for you.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Ideally you would wear nude, seamless underwear and little to no make-up for your appointment. If you have already gathered some inspiration for your wedding dress via Pinterest etc. feel free to share them with us.
We always plan 2 hours for each first appointment which gives you plenty of time to browse through our collection and try on your favorites. If a first appointment does not prove fruitful you are more than welcome to visit u for a 2nd and even 3rd appointment.
That really depends on how soon you start looking 😉 But from our experience it is not advisable to take too long to make a decision. You never have to decide right away – sleep on it and see how you feel about the dress a day or two after your fitting. If you are unsure you can always swing by for a 2nd appointment to be absolutely sure.
Lead times vary with each designer but are always between 4-6 months. We are also able to have some dresses sooner but usually rush fees apply. We sell samples on rare occasions if a bride is very spontaneous.
Here in Aachen we work with 2 wonderful, skilled tailors and we can also give out recommendations for tailors in other German, Dutch or Belgian cities.
